Junior Steel Hero to Lead Out the Teams at Fir Park

It has been a traumatic month for local hero Nathan Pearce, who leads out Motherwell tonight for our match against Hibernian.

Last Friday, Nathan’s dad was in a car accident as he was picking up Nathan from his mum’s house. While sitting in his parked car, Nathan’s father’s vehicle was hit by another motorist, sending it crashing into a nearby house. Nathan’s quick thinking led him to go back into the house to grab a knife before cutting his dad’s seatbelt and helping him from the accident with only minor injuries.

‘Well fan Nathan, who was recognised in the national press last week for his actions, has been invited by the Well Society to meet the Motherwell players and lead out the teams as the Steelmen take on Hibs at Fir Park.

We hope everyone at Fir Park tonight will give Nathan an extra special welcome as he leads the ‘Well onto the pitch!
